This stunning antique 18ct Gold Georgian flat cut Garnet Riviere Necklace is Circa 1790.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred
years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
Each deep red flat cut Garnet is approx 0.80ct each leading down to a larger
5ct Garnet and a 3ct Garnet crowning the clasp.
